This is tin metal from Taft hairspray. Can be used any of that probably tin cans. But others may be differ like that from air fresheners or alike. The soldering is between two halves of the front wings. And rear parts with its top. And then glued to the frames. In real thing that was press formed of ...

I've developed also paper version of this car. Take the frame from there. The metal parts were formed and shaped just like in 1:1 scales, with separately made cardboard buck s for it and shapes were check on them.
